NEW HAVEN TOWN PUBLIC HEARING HELD AUGUST 15, 2017 (1 of 2)


Call to Order: The August 15, 2017 public hearing on proposed Local Law #3 of 2017 was called to order by Supervisor Timothy Teifke at the New Haven town hall at 5:45. Councilwomen Patricia Prosser, Councilman William Rombough, and Supervisor Tim Teifke present. Councilman James Vergos Absent.
Purpose of Meeting to hear comments in favor of and opposed to adoption of proposed Local Law #3 of 2017 entitled “Prior Written Notice Statute". The Public Hearing was legally advertised and posted.

Public Comment: There were no comments from the public

Adjournment: Having no comments, the hearing was closed at 5:49 p.m. by motion of Patricia Prosser, second by William Rombough. Patricia Prosser, Aye; William Rombough, Aye. Carried.

NEW HAVEN TOWN PUBLIC HEARING HELD AUGUST 15, 2017 (2 of 2)


Call to Order: The August 15, 2017 public hearing on proposed Local Law #4 of 2017 was called to order by Supervisor Timothy Teifke at the New Haven town hall at 5:49. Councilwomen Patricia Prosser, Councilman William Rombough, and Supervisor Tim Teifke present. Councilman James Vergos Absent.
Purpose of Meeting to hear comments in favor of and opposed to adoption of Local Law #4 entitled “A Local Law Providing for Enactment of the New York State Legislation and Titled “Lake Ontario and Connected Waterways Assessment Relief Act”. The Public Hearing was legally advertised and posted.

Public Comment: The Attorney for the Town briefly explained the law. Questions were answered concerning what is covered by the law.
Brad Rombough stated that he had talked to Congressman Katko’s office and Senator Richie’s office and they said that they did not like it.

Adjournment: Having no further comments, the hearing was closed at 6:11 p.m. by motion of William Rombough, second by Patricia Prosser. Patricia Prosser, Aye; William Rombough, Aye. Carried.
